Flood officials eye north-east Saskatchewan

The next big target for the province's flood prevention efforts could be Saskatchewan's north-east. The Hudson Bay region is expected to be the site of some high water in the next few weeks.
The spring melt hasn't crept that far north just yet. But the province's Duane McKay is hoping to see equipment move from the central location of Prince Albert in the next while.
“We are making plans now to make sure that we can move enough resources into those areas to support municipalities that are not currently flooding, but have a risk of flooding,” McKay explained.
Equipment will be sent out to communities as they need them.
