Dragons slay Gophers

The Sask River Dragons have won their first game of this High School Boys Rugby season. The P-A side with players from PACI, Carleton, John Diefenbaker and Birch Hills posted a 17-0 win over the Gophers in Saskatoon.
Lucas McConachy, Ross Lemesserer and Graham Pederson scored try's for the Dragons who will now prepare to take on the defending league champion Saskatoon Badgers in Tuesday's home opener.
Coach Paul Roy says the learning curve continues for his young team and there were several positives in Tuesday's win over the Gophers.
Game time at Prime Minister's Park is 6pm
