Regina kids receive donated bikes

Learning to ride a bike is a rite of passage for many kids.

On Monday, over 100 Regina kids were given that chance as Jack FM handed out bikes donated in their “a Bike a Day in May” campaign.

Noah, 8, was one of those kids.

“I ride my bike around my street, to my friend’s house.” he said.

Marie is another lucky kid who was given a bike. She says she plans to ride around her neighbourhood.

“I like riding bikes because it's fun.”

The bikes were donated throughout the month of May, and any repairs were made by Canadian Tire.
