Sask. gas prices could see slow decline

If Saskatchewan drivers are looking for a decrease in high gas prices, they’ll have to be patient.

Falling crude oil prices should mean relief at the pumps and according to Roger McKnight, Senior Petroleum advisor for En-Pro, gas prices could fall but the decline will be a slow one.

“I see prices staying stable if not falling gradually. You won't see a sudden plummet to reality, it'll be a very gentle movement downward,” McKnight said.

McKnight added that the strong Canadian dollar protects Canadian consumers against rising oil costs, keeping prices at the pump lower than what they could be.
