SPCA will not euthanize dogs that survived on owner’s remains
At this point, the Saskatoon SPCA is not even considering putting down the seven Yorkton dogs who survived by eating their dead owner’s remains.
Tiffiny Koback with the Saskatoon SPCA says the goal is to groom the dogs back to health and avoid putting them down.
“We’ve had a lot of support in that we haven’t made the decision to euthanize them and we want to give them a fair chance,” said Koback.
She says most dogs would have done the same thing.
