Regina police respond to bear mace call
Regina police had another busy night Saturday, as they were called out to a number of road accidents but also one quite bizarre incident.
Police said a number of people were sprayed with bear mace Saturday night in the North Central neighbourhood. The details of the incident are scarce as victims do not appear to be ready to co-operate.
Earlier in the day, at about 1:30 p.m., police were notified of a motorcycle that had lost control on Avonhurst Drive near Cameron Street. A passenger was hurt and the driver was more seriously hurt. Police say charges are pending.
Then, at around 11:15 p.m., two vehicles were involved in a collision on Albert Street at Regina Avenue. Police say a 30-year-old is facing hit and run charges after fleeing the scene.
