Station 20 West celebrated their ground-breaking ceremony this Wednesday in Saskatoon.
Once completed, the facility, located at 20th Street West and Avenue L, will provide jobs, affordable housing and a local grocery store for people in the community.
However, Sheila Pocha, chair of the project, says that the facility still needs $350,000 to fully equip the store.
They are continuing to look for donations.
Station 20 West is set to open its doors on July 1, 2012.
