NDP react to controversial ad

Jul 26, 2011 | 6:58 AM

The leader of the Saskatchewan NDP is hoping to move on past the controversy of a political ad his party debuted last week.

The ad splices two separate comments by the premier together. It creates a fabricated statement aimed at making it look like Brad Wall doesn't care about working people.

While he insists with or without the fabricated quote the overall message of the ad is one the party stands by, opposition leader Dwain Lingenfelter has admitted that he is “responsible” for the ad.

“We did the corrective measure that I think was necessary and now we should move on,” he said.
