UPDATE: Muscowpetung First Nation man arrested

RCMP have issued a statement that Gregory David Keepness Junior was arrested Tuesday morning in Regina.

RCMP put out an arrest warrant for Keepness, 26, after a 19-year-old woman was located fleeing from a home on the Muscowpetung First Nation on Sunday night.

Sgt. Neil Tremblay reports that the woman says she was attacked by her common law partner and fled out a bedroom window.

The woman was admitted to a hospital in Fort Qu'Appelle for treatment of her injuries.

Keepness is facing 11 charges for assault, along with several additional weapons charges, stemming from other incidents.

Police have warned that Keepness, who's known to frequent both the Regina and Fort Qu'Appelle areas, may be armed and is considered violent.
