The Prince Albert Exhibition Association Summer Fair Parade was a huge success!

The parade marks the beginning of the 128th Annual Prince Albert Exhibition Summer Fair. According to Don McDonald, of the North Sask Regiment Pipes & Drums, who has been a participant for many years, the parade was well done and he thought this was the largest number of spectators along the route he had ever seen.

Organizer, Elizabeth Flodell, with the Lions Club, stated that “overall everything went well. As always there are a few hiccups but you handle them and move on.”

According to Dave Young, PA Exhibition Manager, “It is the tireless work of the Lions Club members and their volunteers that allow this event to continue each year.

Without them I don’t know how we would do it.” “We as the Exhibition Association extend a huge THANK YOU to the Prince Albert Lions Club for organizing such a large event. As this is only their third year organizing the event we are pleased with their efforts and commitment to this event.”

The Prince Albert Exhibition Association would also like to extend a “Special Thank You” to the following for their services during the parade:
· Prairie Mobile – for the use of their Radios, making communications for the organizers so much easier
· First Canada – For making available the use of safety vests, making the volunteers standout
· Absolute Security – For providing crowd control
· The City Police and the City Workers
· To all the participants for their hard work and enthusiasm, without them there would be no parade!
