A Grandmother’s Bay man is facing numerous charges related to a hit and run that injured three on Sunday in that community.

RCMP in Stanley Mission received a tip that a pickup truck driven by a man hit three pedestrians on a street within Grandmother’s Bay. Witnesses told the RCMP that the man left the vehicle and fled the scene.

When officers got to the scene of the accident, they found a 19-year-old woman, and a 42-year-old man and 21-year-old man injured. The three were treated by the La Ronge EMS. The pickup truck was still at the scene.

The victims were taken to a hospital in La Ronge, but were later transferred to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. All three had non-life threatening injuries.
