SaskTel upgrades restrict lanes near bridge

SaskTel crews are at the base of the Diefenbaker Bridge upgrading the internet lines.

As a result on Tuesday, the City of Prince Albert has put a lane restriction into place for traffic moving southbound from the bridge to 12th Street West.

Drivers are asked to keep to the inner lane and drive at maximum speed of 30 kilometres an hour to avoid the work crew. 

The restriction is expected to be in effect until about 6 p.m. Tuesday evening.

Crews will be out at the bridge on Wednesday for surface repairs. That repair work on the other side of the bridge is expected to wrap up in the evening.
