Four stabbings overnight in Saskatoon

Saskatoon police are investigating four stabbings in less than five hours at separate locations around the city overnight Friday.

Beginning at 12:30 a.m., a 34-year-old man was stabbed after approaching a group outside a bar in the 2100 block of 22nd Street West.

Nearly two hours later at 2:15 a.m., a 39-year-old woman was stabbed at an apartment in the 1700 block of 20th Street. The 41-year-old woman who allegedly stabbed her was later stabbed in the parking lot, allegedly by a man who was at the apartment. Police say the woman walked to St. Paul’s Hospital, despite having life-threatening injuries. The male suspect has not been found.

A 27-year-old man then showed up at St. Paul’s Hospital around 5 a.m. and told police he was stabbed in the 200 block of Pendygrasse Road in the Fairhaven neighbourhood.
