No major injuries reported in weekend accidents

A few car accidents kept Parkland Ambulance paramedics busy over the weekend.

On Friday around 3 p.m. paramedics were called out to an accident at the intersection of Sixth Avenue and 19th Street East.

A 16-year-old girl received minor injuries, but no other injuries were reported.

Later that night around 10:30 p.m. paramedics visited the scene of a single-vehicle accident on the Little Red First Nation.

A 47-year-old man and 46-year-old woman were injured and taken to Victoria Hospital in good condition for further care.

On Saturday paramedics travelled northeast of the city for another single-vehicle accident.

A 57-year-old man was injured in the accident and taken to Victoria Hospital in good condition.
