Winter Wear Collection at Raiders’ Game Dec. 27

Dec 13, 2014 | 3:07 PM

Everyone can use a little warmth this winter, whether that be a pair of mittens, a toque or coat.

Parkland Ambulance Care and the Prince Albert Raiders want those in need to be a little warmer. As the game night sponsor for the Saturday, December 27 Raider Game, Parkland Ambulance wants to invite all Raiders fans attending the game to bring something warm to donate.

As you enter the Art Hauser Center for the game, look for the paramedics of Parkland Ambulance Care in their bright red coats.

They will be asking for your donation of mittens, toques, scarves, gloves or any other winter wear. Paramedics will also be happy to accept any winter coats or blankets for their existing campaign “Wrapped up for the Holidays.”

This is the 3rd season Parkland Ambulance Care and the Prince Albert Raiders have partnered for this event. Items collected all donated back to those organizations in need throughout the community. In 2013, over 500 items were donated, we hope to match or beat that number on December 27.

We encourage the public to bring new or used, but clean items to the Raider Game on Saturday, December 27. Collections bins will be available as you enter the rink. Please let’s make this event a huge success to get Prince Albert residents warm this winter.
