Helping House Fire Victims
House fires happen without warning and they can be utterly devastating. They make up 97% of our emergency responses and we always see an increase of these calls during the winter months of December and January.
Each winter, Canadian Red Cross Disaster Management volunteers come face-to-face with Canadians who have been forced from home due to a fire or other personal disasters. These individuals and families urgently need food, warmth and comfort to make it through this difficult time. We are able to provide that help thanks to the generosity of Canadians like you.
You can ensure that the Canadian Red Cross is ready and able to help those affected by personal disasters this year.
