Local politician loses everything in fire
Plans of a new home in the New Year went up in flames for a Prince Albert politician and his wife.
Sol Sanderson who currently serves as a senate member on the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations (FSIN), and his wife lost all their belongings in what was going to be their new home in a fire on January 1st.
After spending Christmas in Prince Albert the couple left for Manitoba. Sanderson said while they were gone two of their relatives stayed in the home.
“We were away and the boys were there, it was about 7:30 in the morning that it happened,” said Sol Sanderson.
