Community Education Team

Jan 21, 2015 | 7:07 AM

Does your group/organization work in partnership with schools?

  • Do you employ workers that work directly with schools?
  • Do you work in a school and have responsibility for developing community partnerships?
  • Does your group/organization have valuable information/resources that would be beneficial for students/families?

If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, please join us on Thursday, January 22 for the newly formed “PA Community Education Team Meeting”.  The purpose of the meeting is for schools and community partners to meet monthly to share resources and information.  It is beneficial for workers/coordinators working within the school system to coordinate their efforts with community partners wishing to share their resources.  It is also very beneficial for community partners to hear about what is happening in schools to focus and align their resources to provide maximum benefit.

Below is the agenda for the upcoming Community Education Team meeting on January 22 at St. John Community School – 9:30 am.  It will be great to see everyone – please forward this to any colleagues that may have an interest in attending.  Last month’s meeting was a great success, with many people in attendance, resulting in lots of sharing and networking.  Looking forward to seeing you on Thursday.
