Reid and his family are the enthusiastic entrepreneurs behind Reid’s Baskets ‘N Things in P.A.

Reid and his business partner/mom make and deliver baskets throughout the area – beautiful baskets for every reason and any occasion. Most baskets are made-to-order for various occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, or appreciation. But it’s the holiday baskets that get Reid most excited.

And the positive response from the community has been unbelievable.

When Reid’s Baskets ‘N Things first started up, Reid was 16 years old. The Prince Albert native has autism and often struggles with the effects it has on his social life. There are days when he doesn’t even want to leave the house. But Reid still has an overwhelming desire to give back to the community and to make other people happy. And becoming an entrepreneur has helped bring Reid out of his shell.

As Reid said, “I want to show [people] I’m a good person and I am willing to do it for them because everyone does so much for me. I always think why not? Why not go out and do it. Even if I have had a bad day, I can still go out and do that.”

Confucius also said, “Happiness is not at the top of a mountain but in how to climb.”

It’s that drive, desire, and determination that helps make Reid’s Baskets ‘N Things a happy part of any special occasion.
