MELFORT, Sask. – Four vessels are expected to load durum and lentils at the Port of Churchill this fall.
Arctic Gateway Group Chair and Chief Executive Officer Murad Al-Katib said four ships moved 137,000 metric tonnes of product through Churchill last year.
Al-Katib, who is also CEO of AGT Foods, said the work continues to stabilize the track bed.
He said he remains optimistic Churchill will be able to get back into the eight to 10 vessel range per year.
