Marauders bringing home hardware after regional competition

It was a successful weekend for École St. Mary’s wrestling teams.

Both the boys and girls are bringing home the 4A Regional Championship title.

The school’s wrestlers were in Weyburn for regional competition.

A number of wrestlers are bringing home gold medals from the meet.

They include, Blake Michelle, Conley Mcleod, Cole Sanderson, Josh Jensen, Donovan Neudorf and Jesse Gareau on the boys side, while Danika Lalonde, Storm Madsen and Talon Halsall brought home gold for the girls.

Three male Marauders are bringing home silver medals in Shay Sather, Colby Thomas, and Brady Jobb.

Meanwhile, Sydni Natomagan brought home a bronze medal on the girls side.

Besides those who medaled, Angel Besskaystare for the girls and Chad Bannerman for the boys finished in fourth, earning births in the provincial tournament.

The top four finishers in each weight class now move on to wrestle at provincials..
