P.A. resident wins $500K

One of the best kept secrets this Christmas season may be who won $500,000 playing the lottery.
 
Saskatchewan Lotteries confirmed to paNOW a Prince Albert resident won the huge windfall on the Nov. 16 Daily Grand draw.
 
The name of the winner is being withheld.
 
Kevin Egdom, a spokesperson with Sask Lotteries, said while rare they will sometimes wave publicity of the winner’s name.

“Because there may be some danger to the winner or some reason having to do with public safety,” he said.
