MEND (MIND, EXERCISE, NUTRITION… DO IT!)

Now taking registrations for the winter 2017 session!

  • Do you have a child between the ages of 2-4 and or 7-13?
  • Do you want to attend a free program where your child can play fun active games for an hour? 
  • Do you want to help your child to make better food choices, watch less TV, play less video games? 
  • Do you want your child to be more active or participate in a sport and maintain a healthy weight?
  • If you answered yes to any of these questions, then MEND might be a great program for your family!

MEND is…

  • A free healthy lifestyle program where families learn about Nutrition and Mind (Behaviour change) principles.
  • A program that helps children make healthier choices with the foods they eat and teaches them why it’s important to be more active.
  • Families participate in group sessions that show how small changes can make a big difference.
  • About improving overall lifestyle by choosing more nutritious foods and being more active, which can increase your child’s self-esteem and self-image.
  • Fun!

2-4 program Saturdays 11:00 am – 12:30 pm at Westview Public School

7-13 program Mondays & Fridays 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Princess Margaret Public School ( supper provided)
