Death of woman in north considered suspicious

A woman is dead and Pelican Narrows RCMP are investigating the cause as suspicious.
On Saturday around 1:35 p.m., RCMP were called to a home on the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation where a 24-year-old woman was reportedly unresponsive.
When RCMP arrived with emergency workers, the woman was declared dead on scene.
RCMP have now called in Major Crimes Unit North from Saskatoon as well as Prince Albert Forensic Identification Services to assist in the investigation.
