Sturgeon Lake chief accused of historical sex assault

Henry Felix is scheduled to appear Thursday afternoon at the Prince Albert Provincial Court in connection to an alleged historical sexual assault.
The charge is in connection to an alleged incident that took place in September 1974 and involved a woman who was not his wife.
Felix was recently elected and sworn in as the chief of Sturgeon Lake First Nation.
The Crown prosecutor told paNOW he will request an adjournment to allow time for the prosecutor and the defence lawyer to talk.
