5 killed in crash north of Regina

Highway 6 north of Regina was closed for most of Tuesday as RCMP investigated a crash that killed five people.

RCMP say three vehicles were involved in the collision on Highway 6, about 15 kilometres north of Regina by the turnoff to Zehner.

Mounties say three men and two women were killed in the crash, and two other adults were taken to hospital. 

RCMP released a photo of the crash site. One of the men who died was in the blue 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche truck. The other four victims were all in the blue 2003 Subaru Outback. The man and woman taken to hospital were traveling in the grey 2014 Ford Focus.
