Host St. Mary takes gold in weekend basketball tournament

A hometown rivalry capped off the final game of the senior boys basketball tournament at St. Mary this weekend.

St. Mary faced Carlton for the gold and used home court advantage to take the win.

The senior boys were way ahead of rival Carlton by halftime with a score of 37-19.

Brandon Tolentino score 26 times and Connor Murray had 17, meanwhile for Carlton, the high scorer was Chris McLachlan with 11.

Tournament MVP for St. Mary went to Connor Murray and for Carlton the MVP was Daulton Sinoski.
