Teen accused of murder is granted bail
A teenager accused of second-degree murder is no longer in custody.
The teen, who cannot be named due to a publication ban, turned himself in to police over the weekend in relation to the death of Johnathan Kasagan, 36.
Family members of Kasagan and the accused teen were both in the courtroom on Wednesday when the judge decided to allow the accused out on a conditional undertaking. The conditions include following a curfew, not being allowed to have firearms or knives and no consuming alcohol.
Following the decision, the teen’s family members shed tears and cried in the hallway of the court house.
