Are you positive you are negative?

The Prince Albert Parkland Health Region is encouraging everyone to get tested for sexually transmitted infections.

“If you are sexually active, then you are potentially at risk for any sexually transmitted infection,” said Chasity Vermette, the Region’s HIV coordinator at Access Place. “It is important that you know your status to protect yourself and your partner.”

Vermette said that many people may be positive for a sexually transmitted infection and not know it.
