Weldon Brown returning to Riderville in 2015
Weldon Brown’s patented smile was on full display on Thursday after he signed a new deal to keep him in Green and White for at least another season.
Brown certainly has plenty of reasons to be happy as it appears he’s found a new home, as there was nowhere else wanted to be in the CFL than Saskatchewan.
“It was just a matter of time with me getting NFL opportunities and after that if I didn’t get anything the organization I would love to be with is the Roughriders,” Brown told a room of reporters.
2015 will be Brown’s third season with the Riders after heading east from the Edmonton Eskimos in 2013. The defensive back broke into the league in 2010 with the Eskimos.
