Police investigate large fight in the city

Prince Albert Police are investigating a large fight that happened in the city.

Early Sunday morning just after midnight police visited the 1400 block of 6th Avenue East in response to a complaint of an assault.

Police found that several people were involved in a fight. Sources at the scene told paNOW that the confrontation involved two rival gangs.

Parkland Ambulance was called to the scene after injuries were reported.

A 27-year-old man was taken to hospital by paramedics in good condition for further care. The man suffered a hairline fracture in his jaw bone, a broken collarbone and a dislocated shoulder.
