A day after a house fire broke out on the Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation it is finally cool enough to approach.

RCMP said examination and investigation of the scene will be completed by fire officials from the ministry of government relations.  Also currently at the site is the coroner from Prince Albert and Shellbrook RCMP who is securing the area.

For now there is no access to the scene while the investigation is underway.

According to RCMP, the two people missing, a 61-year-old woman and a 10-year-old boy, both from Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation, have still not been located and were believed to have been in the home at the time of the fire.
