RCMP search for hit and run suspect in Humboldt

Humboldt RCMP are on the lookout for a vehicle that struck a parked truck and then drove away.

Around 4 a.m. on Dec. 24 RCMP report that a red Dodge Ram 1500 that was parked in the 900 block of 10th Street was hit by another vehicle.

The driver then left the scene without notifying the owner of the vehicle about the damages.

RCMP have one witness who said they saw the suspect driving an older model GMC extended cab truck that is dark in colour.  

Witnesses also saw an older model car that was believed to be an Oldsmobile return to the scene later and remove debris from the road that belonged to the suspect truck.

Humboldt RCMP are looking for any other witnesses or anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspected truck and its owner.
