Local group only $9K away from goal

Prince Albert’s Team Esperanza are getting closer to their goal.

The team, named for the Spanish word for Hope, are fundraising their way to Ecuador next summer and at the beginning of December they were only $9,000.00 from their goal.

The group hosted a kids Christmas gym blast with bouncy castles and Christmas crafts, as well as an event called “The Gifts of Christmas” which featured the Prince Albert Strings Orchestra and Donny Parenteau.

The two events saw great community support.

Team Esperanza, through the two events, were able to raise $3,400.00.
