Police name suspect in brutal assault

Prince Albert Police are now naming the suspect in a brutal assault that took place on Tuesday morning in the city.

Dustin Durocher, 27, has been charged with aggravated assault and made his first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court this morning.

Durocher has been charged in connection to an incident in which a 26-year-old man was beaten unconscious at his home in the 400 block of 20th Street East.  The man was transported to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon with life-threatening injuries.

Durocher’s next court appearance is set for Jan. 6 at the Prince Albert Provincial Court.
