The Prince Albert Police had a busy weekend, responding to 293 calls for service.

Among the people arrested was a 24-year-old Prince Albert man.

The man was observed in a yard in the 100 block of 22nd Street West on Sunday morning just after 5:10 a.m.

The responding officer thought it was highly suspicious when the man ran after spotting the police cruiser.

The officer followed the man on foot through a number of yards before he was finally located and arrested.

The officer found seven grams of methamphetamine on the man, which is worth about $1,400.

The man is now being charged with numerous offenses including possession of methamphetamine, trespass by night and breach of recognizance.

He made his first court appearance on Tuesday at Prince Albert Provincial Court.

Police investigate break and enter

Numerous tools and a white 2011 Blazer enclosed cargo trailer were stolen.

The trailed is 14 feet long by seven feet wide.

Police continue to investigate.
