Million-dollar lotto ticket remains unclaimed in Sask.
Time is disappearing for someone in the province whose holding a million dollar Lotto Max ticket.
The ticket was on the December 20, 2013 draw, which means it expires after one year.
Western Canada Lottery Corporation knows it was purchased in Saskatchewan, somewhere outside Saskatoon and Regina.
Andrea Marantz with the Lottery Corp. said they do not dig deeper into the exact location until the prize is claimed.
“We take the ticket and we run that barcode through our data system and we match up the story that the data tells us with the story that the person tells us.”
Saturday is the final day but Marantz said in the unlikely chance someone locates that ticket they have until midnight Monday. The slight deadline extension is because the deadline falls on the weekend.
