Dec 18, 2014 | 11:13 AM

Janelle Christine Cameron broke down in tears during her first appearance at provincial court Thursday morning in Saskatoon. Cameron, 32, is accused of impaired driving causing the death of an eight-year-old girl.

Through tears, Cameron corrected the Crown on the little girl’s name.

She was released on conditions that include no alcohol or bars and will be back in court next month.

The single-vehicle crash happened on March 1, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. Cameron was driving the vehicle in the northbound lane on Circle Drive near the Ruth Street exit. The car flipped, crossed the centre median and landed in the southbound lanes.
