Bears goaltender heading east

Jessica Vance has committed to the University of Manitoba Bisons for the 2015/2016 season, enrolled in the Faculty of Kinesiology.

The 17-year-old Carlton High School student has been a member of the Prince Albert A and W Bears since 2010, when she broke into the league as a 13-year-old.

She currently holds the leagues all-time record for wins (42), games played (83), shutouts (13), and minutes played (4,651).

In February, Vance will be a member of Team Saskatchewan at the Canada Winter Games in Prince George, B.C.,

This is her the second time being selected to represent the province.
