Final Sask. photo-radar cameras online

Dec 8, 2014 | 4:50 PM

The province will be keeping an eye on how fast you’re driving, as all of the cameras in the two-year photo radar pilot project go live.

On Monday, the last of the cameras began operating across the province; one in Moose Jaw and the Saskatoon cameras had already gone live previously.

Cameras are set up on Regina’s Ring Road and selected school zones, Saskatoon’s Circle Drive and selected school zones, Highway 1 by Moose Jaw and selected school zones in that city, Highway 1 between the Pilot Butte turnoff and White City, and Highway 12 at Martensville.

The pilot project was first hinted at during the 2013 speech from the throne. In November 2013,the province announced 14 new measures that were recommended in a report the summer before, including the pilot project that would put radar in “high-risk areas” and school zones.
