“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has. ”

The Victoria Hospital Foundation along with Rawlco Radio hosted their 9th annual Give a Little Life Day on Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Victoria Hospital. The goal was to raise money for the ‘littlest patients’ of all – the pediatric and nursery units.

“Our Give a Little Life day was a powerful and emotional day. It was inspiring to see the community wrap its arms around its hospital once again. Our goal was to raise $400,000 for our pediatric and nursery units; and as of today’s date, we are over $394,000 with donations still coming in. We are confident we will hit our goal shortly and want to extend a heartfelt thank you to each and every individual, organization and service club that supported Give a Little Life. We can now purchase critical equipment such as vital signs monitors, incubators, oxygen systems and fetal monitors,” reflects Sherry Buckler, Executive Director, Victoria Hospital Foundation

Our hospital takes care of a large area reaching to Fond du Lac, Wollaston and Stony Rapids, and offers support to 52 surrounding communities including 12 First Nations.
