P.A. doctor charged with improper conduct
The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan have charged a Prince Albert doctor with unprofessional conduct.
The charge against Dr. Yagan Pillay dates back to an alleged 2012 incident, and it was filed at the last council meeting on Nov. 21.
According to the college, a female patient said she went to Pillay about her stomach pains. The woman said she told the doctor the lights in the room were bothering her eyes because she had a migraine headache.
The woman claimed the doctor massaged parts of her body while she lay on an examination table, and that he massaged her lower back while she was standing upright. She further alleged that Pillay pulled the woman towards him and massaged her.
