VIDEO: Precision required for collision analyst training

Investigating a crash when a pedestrian or cyclist is involved can be tricky but police officers in Saskatoon on Thursday are learning the importance of honing those skills. 

Collision analysts from Western Canada are undergoing training this week with the help of the Institute of Police Technology and Management from Jacksonville, Fla. The training involved using a weighted dummy named Skippy who was plowed over by a speeding truck three times while standing and twice while on a bicycle.
