Durant will not play in the West semi-final

The Saskatchewan Roughriders star quarterback, who missed half the regular season, is going to miss the opening of the playoffs as well.

Despite what head coach Corey Chamblin said earlier this week, Darian Durant will not be on the roster for the Riders in the West semi-final game in Edmonton on Sunday.

The depth chart was released Saturday morning and Durant was put back on the one-game injury list.

The Riders have not yet explained the exact reasoning for keeping Durant off the roster. The quarterback was on the field at practice on Wednesday but did not throw the ball on Friday.
