The newly acquired McCarthy leaves Raiders

The Prince Albert Raiders announced Thursday that forward Colton McCarthy has left the team.
McCarthy, who the Raiders acquired from Moose Jaw for a sixth round pick during the preseason Sept. 6, will return home to Salmon Arm, B.C.
McCarthy was one of five Raiders yet to register a point this year, despite having played in all eight games.
He started the year on the third forward unit, but spent some time on the fourth line in recent games.
