La Ronge mayor takes run at provincial politics

La Ronge Mayor Thomas Sierzycki will be nominated this evening as the Saskatchewan Party candidate in Cumberland for the next provincial election.
Sierzycki, 26, will stay on as mayor. He will take a leave of absence during the election in 2015.
In an interview with paNOW in May, Sierzycki said regardless of the outcome, the process would be a win for him, as it would help bring attention to Northern Saskatchewan and its issues.
