Thieves steal $18K worth of cigs in Duck Lake
The Rosthern RCMP detachment is investigating a convenience store break-in near Duck Lake in which thieves fled with a large haul of cigarettes.
Suspects smashed through the exterior wall of the Blackhawks Convenience Store on Highway 11 sometime in the early morning of Oct. 1.
The suspects were able to steal $18,000 worth of cigarettes.
As of now, there are no suspects. The RCMP is following up on leads and suspicious behaviour that may be related to it. The cost of the damage to the building is estimated to be worth a couple thousand dollars.
