Police and paramedics have busy weekend in P.A.

A few accidents keeping Parkland Ambulance paramedics busy over the weekend in Prince Albert.

On Friday at around 4:30 p.m., paramedics were called to the scene of an accident in the 2800 block of Central Avenue. A 49-year-old woman was injured in the incident and taken to Victoria Hospital where she reportedly remains in good condition.

Just 30 minutes later paramedics were called to an accident on the Junction of Highway 3 and Highway 40 for a second accident. This time, a 72-year-old man was injured and taken to Victoria Hospital and the elderly man as well is reported in good condition.

On Saturday at around 5 p.m., paramedics were called to an accident at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Marquis Road East. A 30-year-old man was injured in the accident and was taken to Victoria Hospital where he remains in good condition, according to officials.

And later that evening around 9:30 p.m. paramedics attended the scene of an accident on White Star Road, however there were no injuries reported.

And Prince Albert Police were just as busy.

Police are reporting that seven incidents of tire slashings in the 100 block of 21st Street West were reported over the weekend. Police were on scene Saturday morning to investigate, however there have been no arrests made and the matter is still under investigation.

Around 3 a.m. Saturday morning, Prince Albert Police were called to the East Hill area for complaints of an assault with a weapon. A 17-year-old boy was hit in the face with an object in the 1000 block of Branion Drive, and he was taken to Victoria Hospital where he was treated with stitches.

And on Sunday morning police were called to a business in the unit block of 38th Street East. Officials report that a break and enter had occurred and some motorsport equipment had been stolen.
