Fire destroys Rouleau store

Fire crews worked for hours to put out the blaze that destroyed Spalding Orthopedic Design Inc. in the town of Rouleau, Sask. on Sunday night.

Firefighters began fighting the flames just before dusk. They engulfed the building, eventually rising up out of the roof.

As of Monday morning, there was no official word on any possible injuries or the cause of the fire.

Corner Gas fans will know the Spalding Orthopedic Design Inc. as the “Foo Mart” from the TV show.
