The premier swore in a new Minister of Rural and Remote Health Wednesday.

Greg Ottenbreit is taking over from Tim McMillan, who stepped down last week to take a job in Alberta.

“Greg Ottenbreit has been a strong member of our caucus, serving in a number of different capacities over the past seven years, and I know he will be a strong member of our cabinet,” Wall stated in a government news release. “This portfolio is about listening to and understanding the concerns of rural communities, patients and health care providers. I know Greg will be a tireless worker when it comes to meeting with those individuals and bringing their health care concerns to the cabinet table.”

Ottenbreit was first elected as Yorkton MLA in 2007. This is his first time in cabinet.
